Description:
Wireless magnetic door/window sensor is used to detect where the windows and doors, drawers and safes are illegal opening or moving.
Wireless door sensor contains two parts: wireless transmitter and magnet. The wireless transmitter built-in an electrical switch, which is called Reed Switch. It consists of a pair of contacts on metal reeds in a hermetically sealed glass envelope. Bring the magnet near to the switch, once the magnet is pulled away from the switch, the reed switch contacts will be open from closed position. The sensor alarm LED light will be on and emit wireless signal to alarm control panel at this time.
Installation:
Mount the wireless transmitter and the magnet respectively on the door frame and the door (usually in the upper edge of the door and frame). Clean the position where install the door sensor. Stick the double sided tape with adhesive or screw them firmly. The transmitter and magnet should be parallel and the interval distance less than 15 mm.
Notes
minimize the distance between the door sensor and control panel. try to avoid the concrete walls and appliances between the door senssor and control panel. avoid installating in the rain and wet area. pull out the antenna after installation. install the transmitter on the door frame.Common faults and solutions
A. the control panel can’t receive the wireless alert signal from door sensor.
check the IC encoding whether is correct check the distance between the door sensor and the control panel check the battery or battery buckle connection check the installation environment check the door sensor check door sensor PCBB. door sensor indicate light keeps on/off
check the LED light welding point whether is loose check the battery check door sensor PCBApplications:
install on window, the control panel will receive the wireless alert signal from door sensor transmitter and active the horn/sirens once the window is open more than 15 mm. install on drawer, the control panel will receive the wireless alert signal from door sensor transmitter and active the horn/sirens once the drawer is open more than 15 mm run a thin cooper wire from the two ends of reed switch and wrap the wire around objects, the control panel will receive the wireless alert signal from door sensor transmitter and active the horn/sirens once the wire is cut.Specifications:
