Slide the on / off switch away from the lens area 2) Hold it horizontally and shake moderately two to three times per second. The flashlight provides more than five minutes of continuous lighting when shaken for every 30 seconds 3) When shaking makes sure to keep the attached wrist strap away from your face, head and away from people who may be closed by 4) To turn the flashlight on, slide the on / off switch toward the lens area Dynamo / environmental radio operating manual Hand crank power recharging: 1) Hold the dynamo handle, rotate the dynamo gently clockwise in moderate speed, energy is charged in the batteries 2) Use the volume control knob to turn on / off the radio and select your desire volume 3) Push the band switch to select FM, AM or SW and use tuning knob to search for desire station 4) Revolve the telescopic antenna to find best possible reception 5) Press torch switch light to turn on / off the light Disinfecting pellet / drinking water 1) Add 1 pellet into one liter of water (4 pellets for 1 gallon of water) 2) Shake thoroughly until pellet dissolves and wait approximately 5 minutes for water to settle 3) Shake the water again until the taste of chlorine disappears before drinking 4) Double dosage can be used for the contaminated water 5) Precautions: cracked pellet is ineffective Antiseptic povidone-iodine prep pad: 1) For external use only 2) Content: one prep pad saturated with a 10% povidone-iodine solution equivalent to 1% available iodine Directions: In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns, and if pain, irritation, redness, swelling or infection occurs, discontinue use and contact a physician.
