Guyer Tower and Mast

Guyed mastsare utilized to achieve the maximum in elevation and loading at an economicalcost. The addition of heavier braced sections and torque arm guy points allow atower to be engineered custom to its loading specifications.

The facewidth is the measurement of each side of the triangular structure that sitsupon a tapered bottom section that is anchored to the foundation base by apivot pin. The tower and mast is supported by galvanized steel guy cables ofvarying sizes.

Many towerand mast models end in two numbers that indicate the face width size in inches.However, the same model has various loading capabilities based upon thethickness and size of steel pipe or angle members used for vertical support andhorizontal and diagonal bracing.

MEGATRO's guyed masts aresecured with a pivot base and can reach heights up to 1,100 feet.  MEGATRO's allwelded design provides maximum tower stiffness, minimum twist/sway andbending.  Masts come with integral wave guide clips and climbing ladderand come with heavy duty guy cable and hardware.

MEGATRO's guyed mast canaccommodate a variety of broadcasting, cellular, and microwave antennas. Besides,MEGATRO guyed tower also used inpower transmission line project.  MEGATRO alsooffers a wide variety of accessoriesand mounts.

Afterfabrication all guyed masts are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be HotDip Galvanized.  Masts are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning,Pickling, and then Fluxing.  These strict procedures insure years ofmaintenance free towers.

Manufacturersprovide multiple designs from tubular or round solid Incandescent Lighting 1 toangle iron legs; either knock down or all welded sections are fabricated.

If thetower structure's elevation is over 200 feet it will be required to haveobstruction lighting. Some structures close to an airport will require lightingno matter what height the structure is.
