Bleed-off Sub

For applications when a bleed-off port is required on the lubricator string, subs are available with a 1/2”NPT port for connection of a suitable valve. The Bleed-off Sub is particularly effective when used in conjection with Lightweight Lubricator.

The Bleed-off Sub is to bleed the residual pressure in lubricator to disassemble the PCE, after the device lifted from downhole to the lubricator and close the wellhead valve. The pressure meter on the Bleed-off Sub can display the wellhead pressure. When bleed-off, anticlockwise the handle of stop valve and open the mushroom valve to bleed off. Sometimes the crossover sub at the bottom of the device can directly connect the whole set PCE on the wellhead.
