Ram BOP is designed for controlling the blowout during the well drilling. The single and double ram BOP matched to the control system. It can used incorporate or separately and also can be used with annular BOP.
The ram BOP can seal casing pipe and drilling pipe when it has drilling tools inside the well bore. And it also can seal the annular space between the casing and casing or casing and tubing. It equipped with various sizes of ram assemblies and can seal all sizes of drilling pipes.
When there is no pipe in the well, should use the blind ram assembly to seal the well.
In order to control the formation pressure effectively, the ram BOP can be equipped together with Choke and Kill Manifold to balance the drilling pressure.
With ram BOP can realize well killing and flushing and other special operations when the well is closed.
