Portable ASTM D139 Asphalt Float Tester (GD-0631)

Introduction:

• GD-0631 Asphalt Float Tester is designed and made as per T 0631-1993 Bitumen Float Test in the industrial standard of People’s Republic of China JTG E20-2011 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. 

• GD-0631 Asphalt Float Tester is used to determine the floatability of distillation residue of liquid petroleum asphalt, coal pitch and some other bituminous materials. Floatability of bitumen: The time of the bitumen specimen after being placed in a specific water bath and softened to broken with a specific float tester. 

• The test temperature for distillation residue of liquid petroleum asphalt is 50℃ and for coal pitch is 32℃ or 50℃ if there is no special indication.

1. New type compressor. High precision temperature controller. The temperature control precision is 0.1 ℃ 

2. The specifications of float disk and copper tube meet standard T 0631

3. The instrument can also be used as a general water bath if the float test is not necessary.
