Purpose:
The Adhesion Tester is designed and made as per T0754 “Emulsified Asphalt Slurry Seal Mixture Set and Cure Time Test” in the Industry Standard JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is used to determine cohesion between emulsion and aggregate, so that to decide when the highway can be used after slurry seal construction. It is a key instrument used in slurry seal mixture ratio design.
The instrument is portable. It can be used in laboratory or at field. It has been widely used in construction companies and scientific research institutes to determine cohesion between emulsified asphalt and aggregates.
Operation condition:
1. The instrument should be placed on a stable workbench.
2. Power supply: AC220V±10%, 50 Hz;
3. The instrument should be finely grounded.

1. Diameter of rubber gasket: φ 28.6 mm;
2. Thickness of rubber gasket: 6.4 mm;
3. Hardness of rubber gasket: 60;
4. Maximum pressure: 1 MPa;
5. Round test mold: φ60mmX6mm; φ60mmX10mm;
6. Spanner: 0-5N•m.
