Galena beneficiation is mainly carried out with the gravity separation and flotation method and the majority of galena can be purified by the method of jigging gravity separation, but some fine disseminated grain sized galena need using flotation method. Gravity separation method has the advantages of small investment, no pollution, simple and efficient. The flotation method need great investment, there is pollution and the process is complex.
Lead oxide ore dressing can only rely on gravity separation, but lead oxide ores is with fine disseminated grain size is fine, the regular sine wave jig plant is not an ideal equipment to obtain the expected washing purification effect. But it can be carried out by sawtooth wave jig plant getting the best ore dressing indexes.
