Description:Scope: KB0 is intended to be connected to circuits of rated voltage not exceeding 690V, and rated current from 0.16A to 100A, 50Hz (60Hz), available for making, carrying and breaking currents under normal conditions including specified operating overload conditions, and also available for making, carrying for a specified time and breaking currents under specified abnormal conditions (such as short-circuit current). Functions: KB0 is of modular design, associated and coordinated with the functions of traditional circuit breaker, fuse, contactor, over-load relay, starter, and disconnector, intended to provide both protective and control functions for remotely or local manually controlled circuits, having front indications, signal alarm and time-current charsteristics, and also available for control and protection of motors and distribution circuits by using optional modules or accessories. Applications: With its advantages of integration, module, compact size, high protection degree, high breaking capacity, short ionization distance, longer life, continuity of service, high reliability and easy installation and maintenance, KB0 is suitable for control and protection of motors to be used in the field of metallurgy industry, coal mime industry, iron and steel industry, petrochemical industry, harbors, railway stations, etc., and for control and protection of lighting, power transferring, pumps, ventilators and air conditioners in modern buildings, as well as for controlling and protecting of distribution system, motor control center (MCC), and factories or workshops. Main technical data: 1) Two outline dimensions (C and D frame size): 3-pole and 4-pole 2) Current ratings: 12, 16, 18, 32, 45, 63 and 100A 3) Min. setting current: 0.16A 4) Max. setting current: 100A 5) Short-circuit break capacity: a) 35kA for type C (economic) b) 50kA for type Y (standard) c) 80kA for type H (high capacity) 6) Opening time under prospective short-circuit current is 2 ~ 3ms, at current limiting of 0.2 and below 7) Types of over current releases: a) Classification according to working principle: thermal-magnet release, electronic controller, intelligent controller b) Classification according to protections: motor protection, distribution protection c) Classification according to operating frequency: frequent operation, infrequent operation.
