Principle
Adding excessive thromboplastin and calcium ions to assayed plasma in order to transfer thromboplastin to thrombin, and thrombin make fibrinogen become fibrin clot, the clot formation time is negatively correlated with extrinsic coagulation factors volume
Clinical application
PT is intended for use in monitoring of extrinsic factor deficiencies and oral anticoagulant
Storage
Liquid: it can be stored at 2℃~8℃ for 30 days after opening.
Lyophilized: it can be stored at 2℃~8℃ for 5 days after reconstitution.
