Aggregate high voltage shunt capacitor is used for AC 50Hz/60Hz, rated voltage 6KV, 10KV and 35KV electric system to improve power factor and electric quality, lessen the line loss. The capacitor consists of inner capacitor units, oil tank, insulating cooling oil, outgoing bushings, supporting insulators and pressure release valve. The oil in tank will change its volume according to the temperature; capacitor units are protected by inner fuses; they can switch off the trouble capacitor unit within milliseconds, thus to ensure other capacitor units can work normally and securely.
