Type WLS cranes are all electric-hydraulic drive.
The standard capacities are from 20 to 60t with outreaches up to 32m.
Ship crane design is robust and solid, and components are chosen for a long life even in marine environment.
As standard, crane is controlled from a platform above the slewing ring.
A portable electric remote-control unit is available as an option.
All crane movements are smooth and fast, with stepless speed control.
Two crane motions can be used at the same time, but with reduced speed.
Basic design features
1:Welded box boom for low maintenance. The design is stiff and rigid, with reduced flexibility, giving the operator a faster and more accurate positioning of the cargo.
2:Fail-safe brakes on all movements.
3:Fully enclosed and equipped drivers cabin with integrated heating.
4:Dual pump system with separate hydraulic circuit for hoist and luffing/slewing to ensure efficient cargo handling.
5:The variable speed hoist will automatically adjust to the highest possible speed for the appropriate load.
Standard equipment
1:Complete crane with necessary equipment according to requirements from specified Classification Society and Flag State to ensure safe operation.
2:Pedestal of standard height ready for mounting and welding to vessel’s main steel structure.
3:Electric starter equipment
4:Flood lights mounted on jib
5:Oil cooler for continuous use
6:Limit switches for automatic stop of hook travel in top and bottom position
7:Entire steel structure is made of certified steel and is sandblasted to Sa 2.5 prior to painting
8:Full two-component epoxy/acrylic paint system of highest marine standard. Color according to owner’s choice
9:All platforms and ladders are hot dip galvanized
10:Full set of documentation and Operation Manual
11:Hand operated pump for release of brake on winch and slewing gear
12:Spare filters for one year normal operation
