2.Chemical Formula of Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel :
C 0.08%, Cr 16-18%, Ni 10-14%, Mn <2%, Si <1.0%, P <0.045%, S<0.030%

3.Summary: Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel is an improved version of Grade 304 Stainless Steel, with the addition of molybdenum and a slightly higher nickel content. The resultant composition of Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel gives the steel much increased corrosion resistance in many aggressive environments.

4.Applications: Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel is used in all industrial, commercial and domestic fields because of its superior corrosion and oxidation resistance, good mechanical properties and fabricability. Some applications include: Tanks and containers for a large variety of liquids and solids;Process equipment in the mining, chemical, cryogenic, food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries;Architectural applications in highly corrosive environments

5.Thickness: 0.3-100mm

6.Heat Treatment:Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel shall be with Solution Treatment (Annealing) - Heat to 1010-1120°C and cool rapidly. Grade 316/SUS 316 Stainless Steel cannot be hardened by thermal treatment.
