1. General

T-2 toxin is a mycotoxinproduced by various Fusarium. It mainly pollutes wheat, barley, corn and

other food crops andtheir products, which constitute a great hazard to human health and animal

husbandry. T2 mainlyaffects the function of the blood, liver, kidney, pancreatic muscle and

lymphocyte. The clinicalsymptoms of T2 toxin poisoning is anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, growth

retardation,reproductive and neurological dysfunction etc.The use of Trichothecenes(T2)ELISA

test kit to analyze T2residue of samples is fast and accurate.

This kit is a newgeneration of fungal toxins detection products in application of ELISAtechnology

and the operation timeis shorter than 60min, to minimize operating errors and work intensity.

2. Principle

This test kit is basedon the competitive enzyme immunoassay for the detection of T2 in the sample. Thecoupling antigens are pre-coated on the micro-well stripes. The T2 in thesample and the

coupling antigenspre-coated on the micro-well stripes compete for the anti-T2 antibodies. Afterthe

addition of the enzymeconjugate, the TMB substrate is added for coloration. The optical density

(OD) value of the samplehas a negative correlation with the T2 in it. This value is compared to the

standard curve and theT2 concentration is subsequently obtained.

3. Application

This test kit can beused to detect T2 in corn, rice, wheat, beans, peanuts, oats, feed and other

samples qualitativelyand quantitatively.
