The New Improved-version Rubber Piston 09G is an accessory lately redesigned by Quansu Automotive Technology Development Co., Ltd.
A toothed edge is added to the new version in order to eliminate the counter rotation occurring in the Old-version Rubber Piston 09G, such that the gearbox shifting can be performed with ease.
A complete set consists of 4 09G rubber pistons, including 1 cupped rubber piston K1, 2 cupped rubber pistons K2, and 1 cupped rubber piston K3.
The old-version K2 Rubber Piston 09G may counter rotate relative to the axle when engagement or disengagement is conducted, such a phenomenon may cause the wearing and aging of the rubber seal lips, resulting in oil-pressure leakage, friction disc skidding, and damage to the gearbox.
Based on the original rubber piston, a toothed edge is added to the Improved version Rubber Piston 09G such that the rubber piston cannot rotate during operation, the friction disc may be smoothly disengaged, the shifting gets more smooth, and the service life of rubber piston and friction disc may be extended.
Advantage: Counter rotation is eliminated by adding the design of toothed edge to the original one to improve the working stability of piston and prevent friction disc skidding caused by rotation.
