It is particularly used in large-volume blast furnaces and hot stoves. The Al2O3-Sic-C brick has high resistance to alkali, high thermoconductivity, high resistance to molten iron corrosion, good permeability and excellent abrasion. It is mainly used for the bottom, bosh and iron notch of blast furnace. It is the high-quality product to prolong the service life. The mullite brick is made of synthetic mullite. It is press formed and fired at high temperature. It features high refractoriness under load, low porosity and good creep resistance with white color and precise measurement.
