Application
Automatic ASTM D 2863, ISO 4589-2 Limiting Oxygen Index LOI Tester determines the Limited Oxygen Concentration the specimen require to support combustion under certain testing condition.
Oxygen Index is used to measure flame retardant properties of the material.
Place the specimen into the testing chimney, with Oxygen and Nitrogen entering into the chimney, ignite on the material with spark igniter, measure the min concentration to support continous combustion.
Features
1.Paramagnetic Oxygen cell, instead of conventional electrochemical cell, enables the accuracy of concentration ±0.1%, longer life, and fast response.
2. Double MFC controls the mixing percentage of Oxygen and Nitrogen supply easily.
3. Closed-loop system controls the Oxygen concentration of the test chimney automatically.
4. Equipped with heat resistant Quartz glass chimney.
5. Support apparatus for different specimen.
6. Equipped with portable spark ignition, needle valve controls the flame height.
7. PLC touch control and digital display.
8. Optional Desktop computer with software.
9. Calibration interface for the sensor.
10.Patented design of mixing gas system for enough mixture in a short time.
