FRP GRP Fiberglass Radome Radar Cover for Communication Facility

Since 1970s, we began to study the wave transmissivity properties and molding process of composite materials.Till now, radomes of diameter 2.9m, 3.3m, 3.5m, 3.7m, 4.5m, 4.8m, 5.6m, 6.3m, 6.5m, 7.2m, 7.8m, 8.6m, 11m, 17m, 20m with the shape of spherical segment had been developed and went into mass production, and radomes of square, tablet and other special designed shapes were also launched to market.

These radomes could be widely used in wave band Ku,X,X/L,L,S,C, wave frequency 2~18GHz broadband.

Features of products

Structure of segments:

1. Sandwich structure

    GRP skins with polyurethane foam inside.

2. Nomex honeycomb sandwich structure

   GRP skins with Nomex honeycomb inside

 GRP skins and Nomex honeycomb are bonded together by polyurethane adhesive glue.
