Rider Glass – 6.38-42.3mm AS/NZS2208:1996 10mm Thick Toughened Laminated Glass
LAMINATED GLASS is made by good quality adhesive interlayer and advanced bond technology. Laminated Glass is a kind of glass made up of two or more sheets of top quality glass bonded together with a polyvinylbutyral (PVB) interlayer. After the PVB interlayer has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. This makes the complete adhesion of the vinyl and the glass. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain bonded to the plastic interlayer.
- Two or more layers of clear float glass "sandwiched" together with a clear PVB interlayer, laminated glass is the one glass that reconciles the aesthetic benefits of glass with a genuine concern for safety; offering superior protection against glass breakage, as well as harmful solar rays and hazardous noise levels.
- Due to the adhesive properties of the PVB, Rider takes careful precautions to prevent unwanted particles from attaching to the PVB during the adhesion process.
Feature:
1.Extremely high safety: The PVB interlayer withstands penetration from impact. Even if the glass cracks, splinters will adhere to the interlayer and not scatter. In comparison with other kinds of glass, laminated glass has much higher strength to resist shock, burglary, burst and bullets.
