Function Instruction:
MS10 is a high sensitivity and precision sensor to detect the real time moisture of soil directly and stably through dielectric constant.MS10 adopt International Standard measuring method to measure the water content of soil. It can be used in Soil Moisture Measurement, Scientific Experiment, Water-Saving Irrigation, Greenhouse, Flower & Vegetable, Grass & Farm, Soil Quick Testing, Plant, Sewage Treatment, Grain Storge, Precision Agriculture etc, and also in Water Resources, Weather, the water content measuring of particulate matter and so on.

RS485 Mod bus communication protocol
- Red(V+): Power (V+)

- Green(SET): when connect to “ V+”, it will start in “ setting ”; No connecting or connected to “ G ”, it’ll start in “ Operating ”
The configuration parameter of the module like Modus address, baud rate, check digit, communication protocol etc is saved by EEPROM (power storage device )inner. Due to absence from the specific configuration of the module, it can transfer the communication to the modules sometimes. To solve this problem, there’s special mode of the module called “ setting mode”. When it starts with “ Setting mode”, it’ll communicates as following parameter:
- Modbus address is 0.
- Communication configuration is 9600,N,8,1(9600bps, no check digit,8 data bits, 1 stop bit).
- Communication Modbus-RTU The configuration parameter of EEPROM will not change because “setting mode” or “ operation mode” starts.
