Basic raw materials for insulating and lightweight refractory bricks with an overall porosity of > 45 % are porous materials, such as diatomite, vermiculite, hollow sphere corundum or -ash with different alumina contents, as well as volatile, flammable or foam-forming additives and burning substances. Insulating fire bricks cover the full range of applications up to 1850°C. Their chemical and physical properties make it possible to meet the most demanding and varied of requirements.

The gross density is set at a level such that minimal heat conductivity can be achieved at the highest application temperature. But Hongtai Refractory also offers a wide variety of speciality products for other applications where properties other than insulation are more important, such as resistance to high temperatures, temperature shock or reduction.

1.Inspection and Control of incoming raw materials: according to the chemical content,raw materials are classified into different levels to ensure quality of brick first.
2.Inspection and control of the process: during the production,every brick will be weighed twice strictly to reduce the error of weight .
3.Quality audit by quality management: inspection of product standardization of quality of each product by process control and experimentation, taking corrective measures timely whenever deviations are noted.
4.Before delivery, the inspectors will inspect the size,appearance, physical and chemical properties of brick again in factory.
