Introduction

Silica sand is an important raw material for glass, frit &ceramic and refractory production.
In view of the characteristics of silica sand and the drying issues that happened repeatedly in some sand drying plants, our factory specially designed and manufactured silica sand dryer. We adopt German advanced tube-in-tube structure to thoroughly solve such disadvantages: conventional dryers could cause deformation of drying drum after long-run; it was destroyable; energy-consumption is high; etc.
Our silica sand dryer is equipped with optimized spiral shoveling plate and multi-layer self-insulation construction, which could avoid heat loss and save energy to the maximum extent.

1.Advanced drying technology
Adopt new technology of fast drying under high temperature and tube-in-tube structure to ensure drying effectiveness. The materials’ staying time in dryer is much longer, and output greatly increased compared with conventional single drum dryers with same volume.

Adopt advanced PLC control system to realize automatically control on output quality.
3. More energy efficient and low drying cost.
Adopt effective hot-air stove, new fast drying technology under high temperature and tube-in-tube structure to improve comprehensive thermal efficiency with 20~45 percent and greatly reduce the cost. Under 20 C, the energy consumption to dry one ton of sand is less than 7kg coal or equivalent heat value of other fuel.
4. Extended working life.
Because we dry materials by making clean hot air via stove and preheat barrel instead of heating drum directly, it avoids deformation and damage of drum. And the rotation speed of drum is slow, its working life is extended longer. We can assure the minimum working life of 20 years by our special design.

5. Sand output temperature is below 60 C and can be moved to warehouse without further cooling. Exhaust air temperature is less than 120 C, less heat-loss and dust collector bags’ working life could be doubled or more.
