♦These non-ferrous melting furnaces in capacities from 500-kg to 50-Tonnes Copper.
♦Typical melting times for a 10-Tonne Gunmetal Rotary would be 2 hours ready for refining at 1250C - 1350C with a fuel consumption of 300 liters / hour maximum.
♦A further period may be required for refining to the desired composition.
♦Installations usually include an inclined ingot casting machine which receives molten metal directly from the furnace.
What is AC(activated carbon) ?
Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal or activated coal is a form of carbon that has been processed to make it extremely porouand thus to have a very large surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions.
The word activated in the name is sometimes replaced with active. Due to its high degree of microporosity, just 1gram of activated carbon has a surface area in excess of 500 m2 (about one tenth the size of a football field), as determined typically by nitrogen gas adsorption. Sufficient activation for useful applications may come solely from the high surface area, though further chemical treatment often enhances the absorbing properties of the material. Activated carbon is usually derived from charcoal .
Activated carbon is carbon produced from carbonaceous source materials like nutshells,peat,wood,coir,lignite,coal and petroleum pitch. It can be produced by Physical reactivation and Chemical activation.
In liquid adsorption,can used in food, medicine and chemical industrial decolor , recycle and departing . In air adsorption ,can used for menstruum recover, gas refined and menstruum departing. In Environmental Protection ,can used for water purification ,waste water purification ,air clean, in organic synthesis industry ,can used as catalyst and carrier catalyst, in national defense science sector, can protect adsorb the radiogen etc... So the activated carbon is more and more important related thing in our life.
Activated carbon with many different type ,from the material,can separate as plant raw material based,coal based,petroleum based,spodium ,blood based ,synthetic resin based etc. ;While Plant raw material separate as charcoal and fruit kernel based.From the method of production can separate as physical based,chemical based,physical chemical mixed based;From the shape can separate as powder,indefinite form particles,molding based particles(as:cylindrical,spherical ,fibrous,honeycomb etc. )From the use of can separate as gas phase based ,liquid adsorption based ,sugar,medicine,water purification,gold activated carbon,carrier activated carbon etc.So that classify the activated carbon carefully can extended out varieties of hundred type .

A:Chemical industry
Carrier carbon .Mainly used for catalyst carrier ,the function is:in addition to has accelerated chemical reaction rate of the carrier ,itself also has certain catalytic ability .Such as :load palladium carbon ,load silver carbon,load bromine carbon and so on,this kind of carbon used in vinylon carrier the dosage of activated carbon is largest ,basically use in PAV and PAVC production of catalyst carrier .A great number of enterprise in china use this kind of activated carbon are respectively :Anhui ,lanzhou ,jiangxi,guizhou,yunnan,guangxi,hebei ,shanxi and so on the several big vinylon production enterprise. The total amount of activated carbon about 3000 tons .Market price is about 23000 RMB/TON , production rate about 4:1( shell charcoal:AC).
B:Metallurgical industry
Mainly carbon plasma method and push immersion amalgamating technology of gold extraction by activated carbon .China has thousands of large and small gold mine,the largest amount use of activated carbon is fujian purple mountain gold mine,shanxi of taibai gold mine,hebei zhangjiakou gold mine,liaoning province wulong gold mine,liaoning row mountain building gold mine and so on.The most annual amount for above 300 tons ,minimum amount for a few tons.Every year china’s total dosage for 5000 tons.The price between 8000 and 13000,production rate about 2:1(shell charcoal:AC)The specific amount is unknown .
C:Water treatment industry
Mainly used for drinking water purification ,power plant raw water purification ,brewery of raw water purification ,sewage treatment etc.The demand in the previous year have more than tens thousands of tons that mainly Concentrated in the yangtze river delta ,the pearl river delta coastal cities .Such as :shanghai yangshupu power plant ,shanghai open to environmental protection ,daqing chemical water plant ,guangzhou several big water plant ,etc. In Europe and the United States ,Japan,South Korea and the developed countries have more big dosage.every year this type of AC is the biggest quantity for AC application ,the price during 1000-1800USD per ton ,change rate is 1.8-2.2:1(charcoal:AC)
D:Other industry
