After making the green bricks, the next thing is drying and firing.
Before the bricks can be fired, as much moisture as possible must be removed or they will explode in the kilns.Drying involves the removal of water from the wet brick in such a way as to dry them out evenly from inside out.
As for different capacity, there are two ways for the drying. For the small capacity, you can put the green bricks to a fixed drying area for natural drying. It's better to make a shed for the drying area protecting the rain and direct heavy sunlight.
For bigger capacity, the natual drying can't meed the need, you can build the drying line, which like a small tunnel and use hot air from the kiln to dry the green bricks quickly.
After drying, the most important step is burning.At present, there are two common kinds of kilns for soil bricks. One is Hoffman kiln(semi-automatic, which is suitable for small capacity or the medium investor for big capacity), the other is Tunnel kiln(whic is more automatic with costly price, which is suitable for biggest capacity and big investor who want most automated).
