Performance and Feature

• According to the cutting principle, thread milling machines are divided into two kinds: form-cutting and comb-cutting.
• Workpieces can be made by formed milling cutters, that is called form-cutting. In this way, worms, lead screws, rotors of industrial pumps and compressors can be manufactured by choosing different cutters.
• Comb-cutting means all kinds of small pitch threads are machined by comb milling cutters. By using this cutting method, SMK6220, SMB6110 and SMB6120 can cut internal or external threads, and these machines are noted for their high efficiency, high precision.
• The SMK6130 CNC thread milling machine can cut all kinds of threads by programming and changing cutters with both form-cutting and comb-cutting.
• Screw rod milling machines are divided into two kinds, such as semi-automatic screw rod milling machines and CNC screw rod milling machines, which are used for machining rotors of extruders, injection moulding machines, industrial pumps and petroleum mechanism etc.
• Semi-automatic screw rod milling machine can cut different rotors with changeable or constand bottom diameters, single or multi-start in high speed cutting by using a radial milling head or a hobbing head. By adopting generating cutting, it is also used for machining long spline shafts with straight flutes, straight gears and gear shafts etc.
• If the semi-automatic screw rod milling machine is changed with a corresponding milling head and other accessoriees, it can manufacture worms, lead screw petroleum boring bars and industrial pump screw rods etc.
• The CNC screw rod milling machines which can automatically cut special screw rods with changeable bottom diameters and pitches, tapered screw rods according to the program by using a kind of cylindrical milling cutters.
