Winged Infusion Set
The scalp vein set is ideal for blood sampling and injection of small amounts of infusion solutions. It is frequently used in the treatment of patients with contractures and in pediatrics.
1.The single-use scalp vein set "BUTTERFLY“ is used for venepuncture and intravenous infusions.
Two wings ensure easy and secure positioning on the skin.
2.Flexible elastic extension tubing facilitates safe injection remote from the venous puncture site, thus reducing the risk of displacement.
3.Injection needles manufactured from high-grade stainless steel with a triple bevel edge guarantee atraumatic and painless vascular puncture.
4.Broad range of tip hubs (Luer Slip, Luer Lock) offers a variety of selection options.
5.Colour code (according to ISO Standard) facilitates the correct selection of scalp vein sets.
6.A wide selection of injection needle sizes and lengths (from 18G to 27G) enables correct selection of scalp vein sets according to the diameter of the vein and the viscosity of the aqueous solution.

1.Needle – high-quality steel with high chrome-nickel content, manufactured in compliance with AISI standards
2.Lubricant – ultrapure silicone oil (conforms to ISO 7864, USP-IV)
3.Wings – medical grade PVC
