Ansen’s pipe repair bandage is a fast curing tape composed of a flexible fiberglass mesh impregnated with water activated polyurethane resin. It can be used in two ways: First, in industrial pipe repair; secondly, in domestic furniture repair. Please see the pictures below:

Product Feature:

High strength: The water activated pipe repair bandage has enough strength so that it can bear the pipe’s inner pressure from solvent as well as outside pressure
Quick solidifying and good mouldability: solidify in 3-4 minutes, begin to bear weight in 20 minutes
Waterproof: when used with epoxy putty, can completely seal the pipe; prevent it from leakage
Environmental friendly: The material can be burnt competely

Using Method:
The pipe repair bandage should be used with gloves and epoxy putty.
1.Clean and smooth the surface
2.Mix the two components of epoxy putty
3.Apply epoxy on holes or cracks of the repairing area.
4.Immerse the repair bandage in room temperature water for 20 secondes
5.Wrap the repair bandage tightly. The wrapped region should include 50mm below and above the edge of the repairing area.
6.Mould the wrap tape with upwards and backwards;allow 30 mins for the tape to set.
