Function of bucket elevator.
Conveyed material comes through an inlet extender into buckets or it is scooped from the elevator foot by them and carried up by means of a bucket conveyor belt where it is thrown out into an outlet hopper. The bucket elevators are made as one-self-supporting conveyors.
