Activated carbon making machine description
Activated carbon making machine is a kind of new air flow type carbonization stove, can also be called as hoisting carbonization furnace. It is used to make charcoal from wood and all kinds of biomass. It adopts new advanced hot air carbonizing technology, greatly improves the carbonization rate to 99%, compared with the carbonization rate 80% of traditional carbonization stove! This kind stove is safe and easy to operate, thus it is very famous among many industries like charcoal making industry and boiler industry!
Structures of activated carbon making machine
It includes furnace body, furnace cover, heating chamber and exhaust shaft four parts.
The body is made of resistant high temperature steel plate, not easy to deformation and oxidation, also good insulation properties.
The carbonization inner tank and furnace body are seperated, one furnace can equip with multiple inner tank, so it can realize continuous production.
The hoist with steel frame, because as we know, when finished the carbonization, the temperature of inner furnace is very high, can arrive 400 degree Celsius, besides, just single inner furnace weight 400kg, if adding the weight of charcoal, much heavier, so it will be very convenient if using a hoist.

Application of activated carbon making machine
All kinds of biomass material: Friut Husk,Wood Scraps and Crop Stalks,
Friut Husk---Rice husk, Coconut shell, Peanut shell/ Groundnut shell, Sunflower seed husk/shell, Palm kernel shell, Walnut shell, Almond shell, Pistachio shell etc..
Wood Scraps---Wood sawdust,Forest farm & furniture factory scraps, Wood shavings, Wood chips, Tree branch, Bamboo scraps, Sugarcane bagasse, Distillers grains, Coffee grounds, coco husk chips, Waste from beer breweries, Empty Fruit Bunch etc.
Crop Stalks---Plants straw, Crop residues, Soybean straw, Wheat straw, Cotton straw, Corn stalks, Sorghum stalk, Maize Cob/ Corncob, Sorghum husk/ shell/hull, Potato grass, Dead leaves etc.
Materials requirements
Particle size is less than 50 mm, water content <25% of biomass particles can feeding into the type A carbonizing directly, such as: sawdust, rice husk, shell, palm shell, peanut shell, bamboo shavings, shavings etc.;
When you carbonize larger raw materials (Particle size more than 50 mm), such as branches, bark, coconut shell, such as straw, hemp pole, peduncle, need to crush it into less than 50mm pieces firstly; If water content is more than 30%, you can choose type B machine for production.
Working principle of activated carbon making machine
1.Heat
After sealing work, use wooden wastes or gas to heat furnace. Primarily, 10 minutes big fire to burn, when the temperature reaches 90 degrees centigrade, turn to use slow fire to heat. It takes 80-120minutes for this process to reduce water vapor from your materials.
2.Pyrolyse
Keep heating, when the temperature reaches 180-235 degrees centigrade for 3-5hours, it will produce gas from this process. Reuse this gas as fuel to heat. The whole process is about 8hours. When the temperature reach highest and it reduces, the dry distillation process will finished.
3. Cooling
Hang the Inner pot outside, and seal the pipes of cover. Let it cool naturally. Cooling time is longer, the quality of charcoal is good. When the temperature lowers than 50 degree, you can take charcoal out. Otherwise, the charcoal will burn again when met oxygen of air.
