1. Description of rotary drum screen
This rotary drum screen is suitable for hard material with low moisture such as shale, coal gangue etc. The screen hole should be enlarged when used in high moisture materials. It is widely used for screening and classing materials in the industry of chemistry, metallurgy, mine, building materials, coal, and so on.
2. Operating principle of rotary drum screen
The rotary drum screen is composed of hexagonal drum, rack, funnel, reducer and motor. When broken stone into the drum, on one hand, it will be screened with the drum rotation, on the other hand, the large size particle of the stone flow along the slope of the drum forward through the mesh size of screen to screen out gradually. The small stone will fall into different funnel after screening out, and then the stone will be handling by person or flowing out naturally.
3. Features of rotary drum screen
(1) Fine making drum, sturdy and durable. The steel frame is welded by section steel, large volume of the funnel.
(2) Several funnels can be used same time to discharge different materials.
(3) Mouth of the funnel is connected with flange; it can discharge materials on one side or both sides, convenient to handling of discharging. Then increase the productivity, also avoid wearing of the screen in case of delaying producing.
(4) Especially used for hard materials with low moisture, high productivity and reasonable design.
(5) It has features of simple and reliable structure, operation stable, good hermetic sealing, no contamination, low noise, rapid exchanging net, fine classification, high separation ratio, high productivity, accurate separation, low malfunction rate and convenient maintenance, especially used for stone classification in sand factory.
