Brief Introduction:

Health Lipase Enzyme is obtained from the submerged fermentation of excellent microbial strain. It is widely used in food, feed, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, detergents, wastewater treatment, pulp and papermaking industries.

A lipase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fats (lipids). Lipases are a subclass of the esterases.

Lipases perform essential roles in the digestion, transport and processing of dietary lipids (e.g. triglycerides, fats, oils) in most, if not all, living organisms. Genes encoding lipases are even present in certain viruses.

Lipase supplements can help control appetite and support healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels

Since lipase digests fat and fat-soluble vitamins, lipase deficient people may have a tendency towards high cholesterol, high triglycerides, difficulty losing weight and diabetes or a tendency towards glucosuria (sugar in the urine without symptoms of diabetes).  

Because lipase requires the coenzyme, chloride, lipase deficient people have a tendency towards hyphochlorhydria (low chlorides in our electrolyte balance). This can be easily remedied with lipase, but often nutritionists recommend using betaine HCL, which may place an acidic stress on the blood, leading to an inability to provide the alkalinity required to activate the body's pancreatic enzymes. Lipase requires a high pH for its activation among food enzymes. That is why fats are the most difficult of all foods to digest.

Function:

This enzyme is used in breaking down lipids (fats), in particular triglycerides into free fatty acids, glycerol, diglycerides and monoglycerides.

Application:

1. Food Industry: The lipase is characterized with emulsifying performance. It can effectively improve quality of all kinds of flour, such as strengthening gluten network and improving its taste, enhancing the stability of the dough and fermenting power, magnifying steam buns/loaf/dough volume, improving the smooth finish and whiteness of the flour products and prolonging product shelf life.

Reference Dosage: 1.0-3.0 g/100 kg of the four.

2. Feed Industry: Add the lipase in feed can release the short chain fatty acids, improve the energy utilization ratio of the fat-like feed raw materials, increase and improve the flavor and fragrance of the feed and increase the appetite of livestock. Meanwhile, it can also has a certain effect in curing the local inflammation of the livestock.

Reference Dosage: 0.1‰-1‰ of the feed.

3. Leather Industry: lipase is one main composition of leather enzyme preparation and the important material in manufacture of top grade leather. It is widely applied in tanning preparation process such as soaking, soaking in lime process, softening, deliming, degreasing and etc.

Dosage: it can be used in conjunction with protease at 25-55°Cwith PH6-11 according to different process requirements. Generally, thelipase accounts for 10% of total enzyme preparation. 

4. Other industries: Lipase can catalyze lipids hydrolyzation efficiently. It can also be used in dairy food, liquor flavor enhancers, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, detergents, wastewater treatment, pulp and papermaking industries.
