Wood pellet machine line is also known as wood pellet press machine line or pellet plant which refers to a set of complete wood pellet mills is used to produce biomass wood pellets on a large scale. Besides the wood pellet making machine, some other aucxiliary equipment are also is used in the pelleting process , such as a hammer mill, crusher, hot stove , rotarty dryer, cooler, separetor, packing machine ect.
Applicable raw materials :
Any agro-forestry waste can be used. Such as sawdust, rice husk, peanut shell, wheat stalks, sunflower stalk, bamboo, tree branches and ect.
The suitable size is 3-5mm, the best moisture content should be 12-15%.
Main processing:crushing----drying---pelletizing----cooling----packing
<1>Crushing: if the size of raw material is more than 5mm, we should crush the raw materials by crushing machine , till the size below 5mm.
<2>Drying: if the moisture content more than 12%, we should dry the materials by dry machine, till the moisture content less than 12%.
<3>Pelletizing: put the raw materials into feed let of pellet mill machine, produce the pellets from biomass materials without any binder.
<4>Cooling: usually after pellletizing, the temperature of wood pelelts is between 60-80 degrees and the moisture content is close to 15%. For storage purposes, a cooler must be used to reduce their surface temperature and moisture content.
<5> Packing: Finally is the packing process, in order to protect the wood pellets becomin getting damp and to increase storability, proper packing is necessary.
