        Virgin Coconut oil ( VCO for short) is an edible oil extracted from the kernel or meat of fresh matured coconuts harvested from the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). It has various applications in food, medicine, comestic,fine chemical and industry. Because of its high saturated fat content it is slow to oxidize and, thus, resistant to rancidification, lasting to two years without spoiling.

       Many health organizations advise against the consumption of high amounts of coconut oil due to its high levels of saturated fat.

       Virgin coconut oil can be extracted through "dry" or "wet" processing.  In "wet" processing, strictly control the temperature within 40℃ with the method of mechanical press to get fresh coconut crude oil, then, according a series of  other process, at last through the centrifuge separates to harvest the "virgin coconut oil", in this process,  using tubular centrifuge separator instead of traditional filter cloth method to get VCO (Tubular separator is an excellent replacement for many traditional filter and membrane applications due to its high efficiency (virtually no product loss) and small footprint. Additionally, unlike traditional filters, they never require pre-coating or back-flushing and can never clog), because of  its strong G-force  makes the different proportion of two kinds of liquid separation . Through the processing of FUYI centrifuge separators,  the moisture content of virgin coconut oil can be dropped to 0.03%, and extreamely reduce the extracting virgin coconut oil cost time,  increase productivity.

Key features of Fuyi separator centrifuge are its ability to handle high flow rates, high solid content and high temperature process. Generally the model GF series (3 phase, liquid-liquid-solid separation) were used in order to obtain the pure virgin coconut oil. It is a high-speed centrifuge (up to approximately 20,000 r/min) combines a high G-force from 6500 to 15800, and the separation factor is approximately 16000. It is designed to separate low percentages (<0.5%) of suspended solids, and to separate two immiscible liquids of differing densities.

       Tubular separator is consisted of main body, driving device, bowl collecting pan and liquid-in bearing seats. 

      The coconut crude oil is fed through the bottom, the bowl of the centrifuge rotates around its axis and forms a strong centrifugal forceand the centrifugal force separates the suspension into liquids and solid. Heavy solid is deposited on the inner wall of the bowl, and forms the sludge, then it will be discharged by manual after the machine stops. The clear liquid flows out of outlet from the top of the bowl.

      The motor connect with the big pulley and delivery the power to the spindle through the belt, tensioner and small pulley and rotate with the bowl in high-speed as the clockwise. The material is sprayed onto the bowl from the inlet on the bottom and strong centrifuge force is formed when the bowl rotates with the material and that makes the material flow upper along the wall of the bowl and then separated because of the different gravity by the centrifuge force.
