Brief introduction to belt conveyor:
Belt conveyor is one kind of material transporting machinery in a certain line, also known as continuous conveyor belt. Belt conveyor can horizontally, aslant and vertically convey the raw materials. It can also be composed of transfer line; the transfer line is typically fixed. Belt conveyor has the strong transport capacity and long transporting distance. In the transportation process, a number of process operations can be finished simultaneously. Belt conveyor is widely used in many fields. Advantages of conveyor belt:
The conveyor belt has the advantages of large transport amount, long transport distance, and stable transporting process. Material and conveyor belt is no relative movement. It also has the features of small noisy, simple structure, easy maintenance and less energy consumption.
Working principle of belt conveyor:
Belt conveyor is composed of two endpoints drums and the closed conveyor belt. The rotating drum of belt conveyor is called drive pulley. The other drum which can change the motor direction is called turnabout drum. Drive pulley is driven by the motor via the reducer drive. The drive of belt conveyor is relying on the friction between drum and belt conveyor. The driven drum is commonly installed on the delivery end to increase the traction, which is beneficial to drag. The materials is feeding from the feed end and falling on the belt conveyor. Through the friction of conveyor belt, raw materials are transported to the delivery end.
