The Scott transformer is usually consists of two single phase transformers. Connect the high voltage winding terminal of one transformer with the high voltage winding middle part of the other transformer, forming “T” shaped three phase high voltage winding. Each low voltage winding is a simple single phase winding, and there is no electrical contact between them, and their voltage and current are the same as ordinary single phase transformer. But each high voltage winding and current are different from ordinary single phase transformer.
