1.Properties and Applications:
Consisting of flakes of aluminium powder and solvent by special processing and surface treatment. Giving good whiteness finest grade and higher hiding power. For high industrial coating also for family electric equipments, plastic coating and decorative coating etc.
2.Whiteness & brightness :
The metallic effect of e.g. car finishes is achieved by the reflection and scattering of light on the flakes, which are better or worse orientated in the film.
The visual impression created depends on the ratio between reflected and scattered light. The proportion of scattered light increases with the number of edges scattering the light.
The coarser the pigment, the rounder the shape of the particles, the higher the proportion of reflected light and thus of the brilliance, brightness and color saturation.
3.Regarding Non-leafing aluminium paste:
Non-leafing paste is uniform parallelly distributed in the whole paint film, and the appearance of paint film that non-leafing pastes form is different from the one formed by leafing pastes. It can mix with many pigments and be applied to various systems, so non-leafing paste obtains a unique effect for industrial coating. However, all the pigments or dyes that are used together with non-leafing pastes must be transparent. Only in this way can it achieve the vivid effect of metal surface. There are many kinds of non-leafing pastes, and the tinctorial strength is various from weak to strong, particles are from thick to thin, and the appearance differs from white and shining to grey and refined. Also, there is a series of acid resistant which reduce the bad influence that adverse environment like industrial smog and acid rain do to the coatings.
