Properties:
Ansen Emergency Pipe Repair Bandage is a roll of fibreglass bandage impregnated with water-activated resin. You simply immerse the bandage in water for 10 seconds, then apply by wrapping around the damaged pipe area. A successful pipe repair can be achieved in 30 minutes.

Pipe Repair Application Instructions:
1. Shut down pipes or hoses.
2. Clean damaged area of the pipe thoroughly, disposing of any foreign bodies.
3. Clean and roughen pipe surface to help result in a successful repair.
4. Apply Steel Putty to pipe
5. Activate pipe repair bandage, by soaking in temperate fresh water for 10 seconds.
6. The entire contents must be used once the package is opened.
7. Apply pipe repair bandage around the damaged areas, extending 50mm on either side of the leak.
8. Ensure the bandage is wrapped tight - tightness of the wrap is very important.
9. Quickly wrap the bandage firmly until completion.
10. Continue to apply pressure by hand moulding and squeezing the layers together in a tightening motion.
11. For the best result, manufacturers recommend the completed application be no less than 10mm in thickness
12. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes for pipre repair bandage to set rock-hard.
