Pipe rotor flow meter also belongs to Rotor (or float) flow meter, the measuring pipe select transparent organic glass with high quality. Mainly used for water purification treatment and environmental protection engineering facilities, it also can be used in chemical industry, oil, light industry, medicine, chemical fertilizer , food, paper making and scientific research department to measure flow of non-pulse one-direction gas or liquid. Pipe flow meter has high transparency, visual reading, not easy to break, light weight,long service life, convenient installation and connection and the other characteristics.
Principle and structure
The main measuring element of organic glass rotor flow meter is a vertically installed conical feed tube with small end down, big end up and a floater which move down in it. When the fluid flows through the taper feed tube from bottom to top, a differential pressure generated between upper and lower of the floater, and the floater will be rising under the differential pressure. When the resultant force of float upward force, gravity and buoyancy of floater and viscous force is equal, the floater in a state of balance. Therefore, the fluid flow of the meter and the height of rising floater have a proportional relation with the meter’s flow area, the floater position height can be used as flow rate.
