Product Description

Dry magnetic drum separator

1. Application:

Used to the particle size of 0 ~ 30mm, grade of between 5% to 20% of low-grade magnetite primaries and dry powder ore’s pre-selection, effectively improve the grade into the mill to reduce the processing cost.

2. Working principal:

Using the principal of magnetic materials can be attracted to the permanent magnet, the material flows through the inside of the drum to form a semi-circular magnetic system to design a large magnetic field.When the material flows through this magnetic field, the magnetic materials are attracted by strong magnetic force and adsorbed on the drum’s surface of the semicircularmagnetic system.When the magnetic materials are brought to the region of lower non-magnetic, it will be discharged from the concentrate hole under gravity. Non-magnetic iron ore or lower grade orecan flow freely in the magnetic field and be discharged through the tailings hole under the action of gravity and centrifugal force.

3. Technical Features

*The multi-pole is arranged in the internal magnetic system and can increase the stirring of the magnetic particles.

* 180°broad-angle magnetic system can effectively improve the iron ore of recovery rate.

*Drum surface used in wear-resistant ceramics, the hardness of HRA is ≥85,can reach HRA92 above.

* Simple material distribution structure, and more convenient to control the fine, tailing grade.

1. Permanent magnetic drum

1.1The drum bearing select domestic famous brand of Wazhou heavy duty spherical roller bearing, improving its abrasion resistance in the operation. It can be reach more 3 years in normal periodic lubrication maintenance.

1.2 The drum skin used high quality 304 stainless steel, and stick resistant ceramic in the tube of skin. Its using life can reach more than 5 years.

1.3 Magnetic system

This product magnetic system used computer simulation design, large wrap angle, small pole, more material tumbling, can effectively improve the concentrate grade.

The magnet are fixed by stainless steel screws in the pole board and packed with stainless steel skin, double protection to ensure magnet will never fall off. Magnetic system for 10 years demagnetization rate is not more than 3%. The dry magnetic separator’s spindle plate using non-magnetic stainless steel to ensure seamless magnetic conductive magnetic system to the spindle, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the bearing.

2. The housing

2.1 The housing use δ6 steel and the inlet are made of δ10 stainless steel. It is very durable.

2.2 The inlet are welded partakers plate, making the material distribution uniformity.

2.3 To prevent the materials splashing when feeding, we add wear rubber sheet before the the inlet hole. So that the material is always in a magnetic drum surface to improve the material sorting effect.

3. Gearing

The gearing use SEW helical bevel gear reducer with high stability, compact and small footprint;Control system is equipped with frequency converter, easy to adjust roller speed, suitable for a variety of materials sorting. At the same time my company equipment with the motor current overload protection, the motor can safely operate, not because of the abnormal phenomenon and burned the motor. Life of up to 8 years.

4.Dosing device

This component is used to sorting concentrate and tailings after separating. The dosing device are made of δ10 stainless steel plate. Its surface lined with wear-resistant rubber sheet to enhance its life cycle, can adjust the dosing position through both sides of the adjusting screw and can control the concentrate and tailings grade flexibly.
