SHIE-YU Introduction:
Shie Yu Valve Company Ltd. is the first and leading thermoplastic valve manufacturer since 1973 in Taiwan and China who has designed and manufactured a complete system of valves, pipes, and fittings. We are also granted the sole agency for AGRU in Austria and Spears in USA in 1984.
For the past 40 years, we have been manufacturing and distributing products to business partners in over 30 countries. Shie Yu’s high quality, outstanding performance and technical service standards have gained worldwide reputation and recognition.
Shie Yu has been continuously developing innovative products by expanding product lines in different specifications. We have developed more than 30 kinds of valves including diaphragm valve, butterfly valve,ball valve and check valve from a broad range of materials such as UPVC, CPVC, HDPE, PPH, PPS, PVDF, and ECTFE.
Our advanced extrusion machines are imported from Cincinnati in Austria and Krauss Maffei in Germany to meet the industry and construction requirements. We are the only company who is capable of manufacturing 60” plastic valves, and 24” pipes and fittings, and also, the first company in Taiwan and China who is certified by NSF(American National Sanitation Federation)and ISO9001:2008. In 2012, our annual turnover rate has reached 100 million USD. We have four manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, two in Kunshan China, which one of the plants is established under the brand name Asian Valve Co., Ltd.
SHIE-YU Milestones :
1973 Shie Yu established in Ching-Shui town, Taichung , Taiwan. The location area at 16,000 square meters.
1980 Set up the export division and oversea markets in Taipei, Taiwan
1981 Built the long-term supply contract with Taiwan biggest industrial group of Formosa Plastic Co.
1985 Set up KaoShung branch office
1988 Authorzed the Taiwan agent by Agru Kunststofflechnik Gmbh.
1988 Established Kaohsiung 1st plant in Da-Fa industrial district of Taiwan. The location area at 20,000 square meters.
1994 The first company gained the NFS official listing in Taiwan.
1997 Obtained the ISO9001 certification.
1998 Established Taichung branch office in Taiwan.
1999 Established Kaohsiung 2nd plant. The location area at 18,000 square meters.
2001 Set up Shanghai Branch office.
2002 Established the facility in Jang-Su ,China.
2003 Established a modernization plant in Taichung Harbor Export Processing Zone. Specialize in production of UPVC, CPVC, HDPE, PE, ABS, PDVF pipes and fittings. Increased the 5 Austrian CINCINNATI extrusion machines into production. Enhance the production ability and capacity.
2004 Increased 3 Germany BATTENFEID extrusion machines into production.
2005 Breakthrough the production technique. Produced 14” UPVC and CPVC molded fittings.
2006 Acquired a tooling plant to reach the one step production.
2013.08 China facility obtained NSF official listings for UPVC SCH80 pipes and fittings.
2013.12 Set up second facility in Kunshan specializing in PP/PVDF/ECTFE/HDPE products.
