Properties&Usage:
TTA is white granule or powder, it is a mixture of 4-methyl-benzotriazole and 5-methyl-benzotriazole, soluble in alcohol, benzene,toluene,chloroform and watery lye, and hardly soluble in water.
TTA is mainly used for metal (such as silver, copper, lead, nickel, zinc as antirust and corrosion inhibitor, widely used in rustproof oil (fat) products, more for copper and copper alloy of vapor phase inhibitors, circulating water treatment agent, car anti-freezing solution, polymer stabilizers, plant growth regulator, lubricant additives, uv absorber, etc. TTA can be used together with scale inhibitor, biocides, especially for closed circulating cooling water system for corrosion effect is really good.
