 1.The tape is extremely thin with a depth of just 3mm. It has a 3M self-adhesive backing so 

is easily applied to most smooth surfaces by simply removing the backing paper

 

2.The LEDs used in the tape are 3 Chip SMD LEDs like the ones uses to backlight the screens 

of the latest Mobile Phones and MP4 Players

 

3.The LEDs are encapsulated in resin for a splashproof seal

 

4.There are 144 RGB LEDs per meter, you can control each LED individually.This is the digitally

addressable type of LED strip. You can set the color of each LED's red,green and blue 

 

 5.The tape can be cut or joined, connections and cutting points are at 1 LED
