Specification of Drilling Liquid-gas Separator
Application
ZS ZYF series gas-liquid separator is special equipment for degassing, which is in the first step of the drilling fluid purification system. It is mainly used to remove big bubbles with diameter above φ3mm and these bubbles refer to the expanded gas in the fluid that fill in some parts of well annulus. Well kick even spilling out to the rotary table will easily occur if they are not removed.
Gas-liquid Separator can be fed liquid from placed blowout preventer directly and can also be fed from throttle manifold to separate out big bubbles. There are small bubbles in processed drilling fluid which get through the shale shaker and then are degassed routinely in degasser. It is an ideal solid control equipment in drilling projects.

Feature
The drilling fluid with harmful air flows into the separator through inlets and falls on a series of specialized inner baffles where the surface area will become wider and from here the fluid flows downwards, forming an eddy flow to separate gas from liquid. Free gas is discharged out from air outlets on the tank top and the discharging pipe length is determined by site situation and match equipment while the degassed fluid drained into circulation tank.
