1. Application
During working, no mechanical movement is needed in sealing and releasing. So it has advantages to be used in horizontal and deflecting well. It is widely used for water injection, acidification, plugging, fracturing and other constructions.
2. Structure and Work Principle:
K344 steel frame packer is composed of lower joint, floating head, barrel, center tube, inlet and upper joint. The barrel has three layers which are made of high elasticity and strength stainless steel.
K344 packer is with hydraulic expansion and fixed by hanging. It’s sealed and released by hydraulic. Casing and oil pipe annulus is sealed by expansion of barrel.
3. Characteristics
1) Big expansion coefficient, small diameter rubber barrel can seal the big diameter well.
2) Easy to expanse and retract. That is, easy sealing and releasing.
3) High temperature resistance: 125°C~150°C,it can reach 180°C according to special requirement.
4) Can bear big pressure differential
5) Small residual deformation
6) It’s adaptable. Can be used in the construction of casing deformed well and openhole well.
7) Reliable sealing.
8) Can be reused (It refers to formation testing).
