1. Application
It is mainly used in many different constructions, such as oil extraction by layer, water injection, water exploration, plugging, squeezing, acidification, fracturing and so on.
2. Structure and Principle
Y211 packer is composed of anti-corrosion barrel in high temperature and pressure, whole central pipe, friction commutator and lower joint. The slip has been treated by carburizing and quenching. The rigidity of surface and toughness of center is very high, so it’s not easy broken when conflicts with load. The barrel is above the slip to avoid covered by sand. The structure is simple and easy to operate.
Sealing: when going down the well, the control pin is at the short track. Pull the column up to content height when the packer has reached desired position, then lower the column and make the control pin tangential direction to long track. The slip extends and blocks in tube inwall. The barrel is compressed to realize sealing.
Unsealing: pull column barrel up to make the slip reset to realize unsealing.
3. Characteristics
1) It’s sealed by pulling and lowering column. It’s released by pulling the column.
2) It is supported by unidirectional slip. Sealing and unsealing are convenient and reliable.
