UNS S31803 Description
One kind of duplex stainless steels, 2205 alloy UNS S32305, S31803, is made up of 22% chromium and 3% nickel molybdenum and 5-6% nitrogen compound type stainless steel alloy composition. 2. It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local association, strong corrosion resistance. With 316 l and 317 l austenitic stainless steel, compared to 2205 alloy in the resistance to pitting spots and cracks of superior performance, it has high corrosion resistance, compared with the austenitic, its lower thermal expansion coefficient, thermal conductivity is higher. 3. Areas of application:
The pressure vessel, pressure tanks, high pressure pipes, heat exchangers, chemical processing industry.
