The boring machine is not only for boring the central hole of a square or cylinder foam block, with the additional horizontal cutter, the top skin of the foam block can be trimmed off before proceed with the boring process, which saves time and labor for moving the foam block to a horizontal foam boring machine and the top skin can be reused after trimming, the cutting thickness of the foam sheet can be adjusted by the requirement.
Normally a standard horizontal foam boring machine can only cut foam block with 1.3m height, a special designed horizontal foam boring machine will be needed to trim off the top skin of the foam block over 1.3m, it will cost a lot of money. But size of the foam block are mostly about dia. 2.1m x h 2.2m, imagine the cost to design such a foam boring machine just for trimming the top skin of the foam block. This foam boring machine have also obtain the patent right.
