Seamless Steel Tube Grinding Machine
I. Features
1. It is an cylindrical grinding and dressing equipment for steel tubes, and is mainly used for grinding and dressing external surface defects in stainless steel pipes and alloy steel pipes. Besides, it may also be used for dressing and renovating surfaces of used steel tubes and for removing rust from seamless steel tubes and welded pipes.
2. It is equipped with 4-6 grinding heads, and spindle speed and head traveling speed are adjusted by stepless speed regulating motor. Therefore, it is suitable for grinding with different materials, pipe diameters and workload, and it is easy for operation.
3. It is simple in its construction, and floating grinding head support moves as pipe is being bent. It thus ensures uniform radial grinding of steel tube surface, and it is the first choice for grinding and dressing steel tube surface.
II. Application
1. It is mainly used for grinding and dressing cracked or pockmarked surface of steel tube, and also for grinding and dressing surfaces of round steel tubes and billets of small sizes.
2. It is suitable for grinding surfaces of welded stainless steel and alloy steel pipes and seamless pipes.
III. Main technical parameters
1. Grinding wheel specifications: outer diameter Φ350~400(610)mm × inner diameter Φ75~127(220)mm × thickness 50-100mm, particle size: 10#-36#
2. Belt specifications: 4,000mm×150mm, and particle size: 24#-36#
3. Ground steel tube diameter: Φ219~1,420mm and round steel tube length: 3~16m
4. Bearing capacity of rotary steel tube roll: 2-50t
5. Grinding pressure of grinding head and wheel on cylindrical machine for light-duty steel tubes is controlled by spring. Lifting of grinding head and wheel is electrically controlled by lift.
6. Grinding pressure of grinding head and wheel on cylindrical machine for heavy-duty steel tubes is controlled by air-pressure PLC, while lifting of grinding head and wheel is electrically controlled by lift.
7. It consists of video monitoring system and main motor running monitoring system, which is mainly used for monitoring running of equipments during operation.
8. Noise-proof and dust-collecting chamber, as well as dry or wet centrifugal scrubber may be provided as required by customer.
