Slip Ring Electric Motor Soft Starter 55kw made in China
Working principles:
A special liquid resistor is connected in series to the rotor circuit of slip ring motor; the liquid
resistor get to work when the motor starts and its resistance gradually decrease during the preset
time, so as the motor can start smoothly and accelerate eventually at minimal rated current and
maximum torque. After start process is completed, the rotor circuit is shorted by the contactor.
Its low starting current results in no impact on motors, load and power system as well as in no
harmonic to affect the power system.

Application scope:
It is used for the smooth soft start of slip ring motor, rated voltage of 0.4kV,0.66kV,3kV,6kV,10kV.
Standards adopted:
Low voltage whole set switches and controllers GB7251.1-2005
Automatic liquid resistor starting, speed regulation and compensating controller Q/XZS1-2009
Operating Environment:
a. The ambient temperature upper limit and lower limit are respectively +40°C and -10°C;
b. Altitude is not more than 2000m(if it exceeds 2000m, we will choose plateau style);
c. Relative humidity: daily average value should not be more than 85%, while monthly average value should not be more than 90% ;
d. Ground gradient should be not more than 5°;
e. Places without fire, explosion risk, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and violent vibration.
