CONSTRUCTION:Sigma Kneaders comprises of a double ~U~ shapedcontainer welded and machined together inside which rotate two ~Z~shaped Sigma Blades in opposite directions at 2 different RPM i.e. 30 /60 RPM. The clearance between the blades and the walls of thecontainer are kept to the minimum to ensure maximum efficiency in the Kneading and Mixingaction. The shafts of the SigmaBlades are fitted in bearing blocks which are each providedwith roller bearing, steel glands, Teflon rope seals forsmooth and leakless running. Lubricating points are provided forcontinuous lubrication of the shafts. A hinged type top cover with lockingbolts is provided for charging the Kneader. The Kneader is mounted on a sturdy base frame fabricated out of ISMC sections and free from vibrations. The machine is provided with a M.S. Jacket arrangement for heating orcooling as may be required. The jacket is suitable for operating at 2 kgs/cm2.
TILTING:The Kneader can be tilted by means of a mechanical operatedhand lever provided to tilt the container from 0 -110 Degree even during running condition.
For BiggerModels ranging from 225 and above we recommend a Hydraulic Tilting system which is complete with hydraulic power pack with oiltank, electric motor, hydraulic pump, pressure valves, pipe fittings,cylinders and hoses, which makes the tilting of heavy machine quick, easy and simple to operate.
DRIVE:The drive consists of a 3 Ph, 415 Velectric motor coupled to a horizontal worm reductiongear box which drives the finely cutgears enclosed in a M.S. guard. The Drive is complete with flexible coupling and base frame.
